Merhys an Mor meaning ‘Woman of the Sea’ in Cornish (Kernewek), is a slow burn trance film with experimental, surrealist elements.
The film follows hotel chambermaid, Polly, and her journey to discover her past and origin. This film blends the monotony of repetition and day-to-day life with celtic folklore, blurring the lines between reality.
Shot on 16mm celluloid film.
